All documents must be first legalized by a Notary Public and authenticated by the Canadian Legal Division of the department of Foreign Affairs and international Trade.

Any documents in a language other than Arabic MUST be translated into Arabic by certified translator.
- All legal documents $40.00 CAD for each document.
- For the Certificate of Origin $40.00 CAD per certificate (Must include the invoice).
- For Commercial Invoices $40.00 CAD + Invoice Percentage (as follows)
- If the total amount in “US” dollar # For example $10.000 US (Invoice amount) x 1.5 x 0.001 = $15.00 CAD
- If the total amount in “CAD” dollar # For example $10.000 CAD (Invoice amount) x 0.001 = $10.00 CAD
- Money order or certified cheque payable to the (Embassy of Libya)
- The consular section requires copies of all documents to be authenticated.
- Please include a prepaid return envelope to mail back the documents with your address clearly printed on it. (if not picking up at the embassy)
